Marco Troper, the University of California, Berkeley community, was 19 years old when the tragic news of his father, former YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, passed away, has profoundly affected the institution.
A student residing at the Clark Kerr Campus, Marco was discovered unresponsive on Tuesday afternoon, as confirmed by UC Berkeley spokesperson Janet Gilmore. Marco’s grandmother, Esther Wojcicki, expressed the family’s devastation on Facebook.
“Marco Troper, the age of 19, my cherished grandson, passed away yesterday.” “Our family is indescribably devastated,” Esther Wojcicki exclaimed.
Marco was the most kind, loving, intelligent, entertaining, and beautiful person in her estimation.
Despite the prompt responses of the Berkeley Fire Department and the University of California Police Department, Marco’s condition could not be restored.
As of yet, there is no indication of foul play; however, an inquiry into Marco’s demise remains ongoing.
Marco, in his second semester of freshman year, was passionate about his studies in mathematics at UC Berkeley. Esther Wojcicki emphasized the depth of his social connections and scholastic achievements.
Notwithstanding the auspicious beginning to his collegiate career, Marco’s existence was regrettably terminated. Esther Wojcicki holds the suspicion that the individual has overdosed, pending the toxicology report.
“We do not know what drug he ingested,” she said, emphasizing the family’s determination to prevent future tragedies of this nature.
